Don't forget MAMP for OSX developers. It's a one click install for the works and allows you to set up your site exactly how you describe in your chapter!

We're sending out hardcopies. They'll probably be final copies I found out. No PDFs, except for a few. We didn't want to deal with DRM.

5 pages were not enough foreshadowing. And the database setup (majority of chapter)not exactly compelling or in any way different.
Perhaps a chapter two with some grist in it?

I congratulate you on your book, but I have found that Wrox Press is the worst out there.
I bought there first book from Ivor Horton (Java) back when I was in school, and thought it was such a waste, that I wrote a review on Amazon.
Even now, I have a bundle of Wrox books which I picked up for next to nothing, which mostly just sit on the shelf as compared to books from other publishers.
I've found Addison Wesley, Prentice Hall, Sams, Sybex and even Orielly to be better publishers.
