Today I ordered my lunch online. When I hit "confirm," I got a random error to the effect of "your email address doesn't exist." It then proceeded to blow up. This is definately poor programming, but it does highlight another issue:
Network Solutions' "managed" DNS totally sucks. And don't forget that any bad DNS can be another weak link in your business.
I've seen it go down for hours at a time. The domains used for my mail server don't use their DNS, but another email address I use does. It isn't my choice.
So if you want a web site to disappear for hours at a time -- perhaps when Google is attempting to spider it, its domain should use Network Solutions' managed DNS.
You have been warned. These people are warning you too. They are annoyed that they had to order lunch twice, too.

I use EveryDNS.net, free (donation highly encouraged though), reliable, easy to use.
